Mr Ryan Marcovich is a Psychotherapist qualified in Rational-Emotive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (RECBT). He uses CBT to treat mental health illnesses, ranging from mild to moderate health issues. He tailors his clinical approach depending on the needs of the individuals and the problems they would like to address. Mr Marcovich is currently working in private practice but has also had years of experience in NHS practices in England.
Mr Marcovich began his work experience within this sector in 1997 and mainly worked with adults. This involved adults with special needs and services. Later, this included Primary Care Psychology within the NHS and in the private practice. He qualified with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, completed a Certificate in Counselling skills and qualified with a Masters’ degree in RECBT.
As a highly-trained Psychotherapist, he has experience in helping to manage emotional difficulties, relationship issues, stress in the work environment and difficult life experiences. In order to cope with everyday problems, he offers one-to-one and couples therapy, he manages addictions (drugs and alcohol), he is also trained with anger management, anxiety (including PTSD, OCD, GAD, panic, health anxiety & social anxiety), depression and stress. He is also a member of several organisations, including the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists and the British Psychological Society.
