About

Mr Rahman is a consultant surgeon with a broad range of general surgery skills in open and advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques for benign and malignant disease. He specialises in Upper abdominal (stomach, oesophagus, duodenum), Weight loss (obesity), Pancreatic and Biliary tract Surgery within the largest HPB service in the UK. 

He is involved in the surgical management of hiatal-hernias and groin hernias. He also developed a one stop gallbladder clinic using smart technology - he can now offer an advanced day case laparoscopic cholecystectomy in most cases allowing patients to be discharged home within 3 to 4 hours of surgery.
