Mr Sing is lovely. Easy to talk to, explains everything so not worried.
I have had a lovely experience with Sam. He's very professional and always takes the time to explain things clearly
My experience has been excellent overall. Mr Sigh explained in detail what treatment I required and answered all my questions comprehensively.
Very thorough treatment. Remembered me as a patient, caring. Results from Op + Follow up care very good.
Fantastic diagnosis, great operation supported by good after care. A well performed process/procedure and I would highly recommend Mr Singh and the BMI Chelsfield Park Hospital
Very thorough and knowledgeable reassuring at all stages. Many thanks for all his assistance
Mr Singh performed bunion surgery on my right foot 6 weeks ago. To say it was a huge success would be a massive understatement. Little pain relief required and the joint has healed beautifully with a modest scar and only minor swelling. Thank you so much Mr Singh and all the team who have been charming throughout.
Mr. Singh carried out minor surgery on my ankle. I saw him twice beforehand and once afterwards. His advice was always clear, concise and realistic. He answered all my questions clearly and the effect of the surgery was precisely as he predicted. He was always friendly and put one at one at ease. He was marvellous and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
Mr Singh operated on my foot last October. I am really delighted with the result. The surgery went really well, the pain was a lot less than I expected, the scar is very neat and hardly noticeable and I am already walking around and getting back in to normal shoes. I really appreciate being able to benefit from Mr Singh’s expertise as well as his lovely manner, and I feel extremely fortunate to have been looked after by him and his team. Thank you.
I have been under the care of Mr Singh for a double bunion correction. I am extremely pleased both with the medical outcome of my procedures and Mr Singh excellent care. Mr Singh explained the procedure well and was reassuring and thoroughly professional throughout. I would have no hesitation in confidently recommend him to anyone needing this procedure. I am sure that my speedy recovery and great result are due to his experience.
Dear Dr Singh,
You operated on my feet in September 2016. The relief is so substantial that I cn say I think of your wonderful skills every day. Thank you and happy holidays.
I certainly would advise anyone to have treatment with Mr Singh
An extremely reassuring and informative doctor, made the whole experience positive and as comfortable as possible. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
Sam was always very welcoming and took time to explain my options and procedures. I felt very comfortable going into the operation. Occasionally felt appointments were quite rushed, however this was probably because of my good recovery. Thanks for the help!
Been a great experience from start to finish. Very satisfied with the service provided, very effcient.
Fantastic - corrected NHS misdiagnosis, consulted me on a preferred treatment approach and book lifestyle considerations / preferences into account, most importantly a successful op and no issues since.
Very happy with treatment and patient care from Mr Singh
Very positive. Quite a few people had told me not to undergo bunion surgery but I am glad I did. Mr Singh was very positive from the start. Op was not scary and afterwards, it was sore but never any pain. 2 months on and all is well.
I cannot recommend Dr Singh highly enough. During my visit, he listened respectfully and put me at ease. The operation and recovery exceeded my expectations. I am pain free and can exercise regularly again.
Dr Singh has been excellent, he was been very thorough, explained everything to me in detail and I would definitely recommend his services going forward.
I travelled to London to see Dr Singh on a recommendation from my physio because he specialises in Morton’s Nueroma. I was extremely nervous about the idea of having surgery as I have a phobia about going under for surgery. Dr Singh himself put me at great ease and picked up that my neuroma was not where is had been diagnosed in my home country! I scheduled the op and the entire team along the process were fantastic. Dr Singh’s PA was so helpful, the anaesthetist and nurses were so good with a very very nervous patient. I am just out of my post op check up and really pleased. The team made this experience for me and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, especially if you are nervous about surgery.
On my first consultation Mr Sing displayed a strong self confidence greeting me in a warm friendly manner. He listened respectfully to my situation before examining my ankle offering a solution that I had no hesitation in accepting, although I had previously been very sceptical. The complex operation exceeded my expectations with its success. Mr Sing recognized my needs and I benefited from his professional skills, outstanding talent and truly exceptional performance. I am very privileged to have had Mr Sing as my consultant.
I have now had Mr Sam Singh perform surgery on both my feet, and would and have recommended him to others.
He is kind, thoughtful and prepared to explain things clearly without being patronising, as well as having performed two successful operations on me
Thank you so much for my new foot!
I sat on the sofa for the summer and rested my foot, so now I am back running and I can’t tell you how happy I am with the surgery you performed on my poorly foot!
The swelling has gone down considerably and I am running pretty much pain free for the first time in years.
Thank you so much!
Excellent from start to finish. Mr Singh is clearly and expert in his field and also has a very approachable manner. He is supported by a very efficient team. I am grateful to them and for the care and the first class result.
His friendly, calm approach and can-do attitude made me feel very confident in his ability. I would highly recommend.
Great, professional service.
Very pleased with my treatment. Ankle feels almost back to its pre-injury ability. Mr Singh has been a great, friendly personality and has explained every step. Just what you want from a Doctor.
I cannot thank Mr Sam Singh enough for the amazing work he performed on my foot in May of this year. I have waited until now to post this review as I have just returned from a trip of a lifetime trekking the Himalayas, this would have been impossible for me to do before the operation. I am so grateful for Mr Singh's expertise and professionalism, after years of problems I am now totally pain free, regained normal function of my foot and living life to the full!
Mr Singh is a kind and caring doctor and I was very happy with my consultation. I saw him this week regarding an ankle problem which I was very anxious about and it was dealt with empathically and the diagnostic process was efficient. I would not hesitate in recommending Mr Singh to my family and friends.
I felt confidence in his approach and diagnosis
I saw Mr Singh in July and August 2018 in connection with a torn peroneus brevus tendon in my right ankle. The diagnostic process was very efficient and the recommended surgery and subsequent recovery went very smoothly. Mr Singh was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend.
Mr Singh put my mind at ease from the very first consultation. I suffer from white coat syndrome and am very very nervous. He explained everything to me and was very easy to talk to , he really looked after me before ,during and after the operation . I would highly recommend him .He is a very nice and friendly man .
Dr Singh is without doubt the nicest doctor I have ever met. He is extremely friendly and made me feel at ease immediately. I gave a vague description (it was difficult for me to explain) of where my pain was emanating from but Dr Singh immediately pinpointed the area and knew exactly what my problem was and referred me to have a scan of my foot which confirmed his diagnosis. There was no pressure from Dr Singh to make a decision as to whether to have surgery and he has left it with me to see how I can manage once I need to change my footwear to adapt to the colder weather. If I do feel surgery is my only option, I will have no hesitation in contacting Dr Singh to proceed with it. I cannot recommend Dr Singh highly enough!
I had great pain and regular shocks in my left foot and the podiatrist would not help me anymore. Mr Singh did a wonderful surgery with a very small scar remaining. This stopped my pain immediately! Mr Singh is very kind, approachable and down to earth.
My surgery was complex with several issues in my ankle being resolved. Mr Singh was excellent to work with, as he explained the procedure carefully and followed up to ensure all issues were resolved. I was 100% satisfied with the treatment and outcome.
Can't speak more highly of my treatment under Mr Singh. I was apprhensive of having surgery but I was thoroughly reassured and the whole expereince was excellent.
My consultation today was informative, reassuring and knowledgeable. I was able to understand everything! Therefore, I would highly recommend Mr Singh as a consultant and would have no hesitations in seeing him again for his specialist area.
Sam has dealt with my ankle injury from the start and has always kept me well informed on its' progress. He has a great nature and a friendly attitude. Mostly, he did a fantastic job with my ligament reconstruction and my pain has now ceased.
I had bunion and bunionette correction on both feet. I was delaying the procedure for many years but after seeing Mr Singh and discussing the surgery with him, I had no doubts that I am in the right hands. Mr Singh is an excellent surgeon and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs foot or ankle surgery. I cant’t thank Mr Singh and his team enough!
Mr Singh has been amazing throughout the last 7 months ( pre-surgery consultations, surgery, post operation follow-ups). He has been upbeat and encouraging throughout, he is a very competent doctor.
I had a bunion correction and also a correction in my big toe because of a childhood trauma. All went very well. When I had questions regarding the wound at multiple times Mr Singh always answered promptly which reassured me a great deal. I feel very lucky that Mr Singh performed my surgery.
This testimonial is a long time coming, I first saw Sam almost 9 years ago with an ankle that had been damaged in a snowboarding accident and operated on by another surgeon. I had been unable to walk properly for about a year and a half prior to seeing Sam and had essentially been told that I would never walk properly again. Sam was very sympathetic and I remember telling him that it was a very complicated case and that you found it very stimulating to try and figure out a solution.
Sam did the surgery to fix all the damage from the accident as well as finding and releasing the trapped nerve. It has now been almost 8.5 years since the surgery and I can walk and even wear heals (!). I cannot recommend Sam highly enough as without him I would still be in constant pain
Thank you Sam – for giving me back my life, so I can run and play with my boys.
I went to Sam with an ongoing injury to my ankle caused by playing sport. The diagnosis was quick and easy and the operation was a success. Post-op, all the previous discomfort and pain has gone and it wont be long till i'm back fully running around. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone.
I received excellent professional advice and care from Mr Singh, I felt at ease when asking questions and Mr Singh explained everything very clearly and I felt very confident with the outcome of the consultation. I was very pleased indeed.
Sam was great, brilliant .... but doctify was not! Doctify allowed me to book an appointment that was NOT available. Fortunately I was given a cancellation slot. Even the secretary said there was a problem and that Doctify was not following the instructions they had asked for. Meanwhile to repeat, Sam Singh was brill 👍😁
Sam is a very personable consultant and made me feel at ease from day dot. Sam managed my expectations well and kept me informed throughout the course of my surgery and treatment.
I have now undergone three foot operations with Mr Singh and he is friendly and very approachable. He was very patient and always explained everything in full which was important to me as I am quite a nervous patient. Nothing seemed too much trouble and on my last appointment he stressed I could always contact him if I had any questions or issues. On top of this he has great sense of humour which made the appointments much less stressful. I am really delighted with the results of all three operations and I would recommend Mr Singh to anyone needed foot surgery.
I had a botched minimally invasive bunnionette surgery in Nov 2016 with another surgeon based in Brighton where too much bone was shaved off and left me with arthritis on my 5th metatarsal joint and in severe pain for 18 months which I was led to believe was the recovery time. Prior to seeing Mr Singh, I visited 2 surgeons who were unsure of what had happened - seemed to me inexperienced and offered solutions I was not comfortable with which would have limited the range on my toe movement. This left me devastated and I was reluctant to have any other surgery. I had just had a baby so wanted to wait until I felt ready to be away from home.
After a 6 month wait, I was referred to Mr Singh who suggested solutions which made sense to me. He was experienced, knowledgeable and realistic about the options I had available - some which were tough to stomach. He told me he would try his best to save the joint. In June 2018 Mr Singh miraculously was able to do something none of the other surgeons had suggested which required breaking & resetting a tiny bone which had been shaved so it was very thin. Not only has he saved my joint but I have gained 90% mobility with minimal scarring and pain. I am incredibly thankful for this as the first surgery really left me disheartened and in so much pain. I still need to repair the other foot and will most certainly be back to Mr Singh as he's performed a miracle on my foot.
Knowing I had a baby, Mr Singh did his best to ensure that I would be as mobile as possible post surgery and I was able to walk after 2 days - without codeine.
Mr Singh is a compassionate, honest man who is very skilled and experienced. I feel privileged to have been under his care and thoroughly recommend him.
I would definitely recommend Mr Singh to anyone considering bunion surgery. As promised, I was back running (gently) 3 months after surgery!
I would absolutely recommend Sam. He was totally realistic about recovery times and was a pleasure to deal with all the way through what could have been a stressful experience.
Fantastic treatment - pain free!
My ankle has now completely healed after my op and I am walking around the golf course again. When you get to my age you become impatient to mend but I must thank Mr Singh for his expertise and guidance - one fully happy patient!
I must thank Mr Singh for resolving all of my ankle issues and allowing me to not only walk down the aisle at my wedding (without trainers and insoles) but also party away in heels!
My mother also benefited from seeing Mr Singh and his referral treatment - he has been brilliant and I would definitely recommend.
I cannot thank Mr Singh enough. I now have two wonderful feet that actually work as feet. And no pain! Many thanks to Mr Singh and all of his team for the work they have done for me.
Sam Singh put my feet back to their (almost) original design, with no fuss on his part and next to no pain on mine. Much appreciated.
Top class surgeon who puts you at ease, he explains the procedure and is very honest in his views on how long the healing process will take. I couldn’t be more happier, I used to have very bad pain, but now my ankle fusion has been carried out by Sam, my walking is pain free,, at least 5 people recommended him, including my GP and all I can say is he is the best.
After suffering quite a lot of pain whilst playing Golf,I visited Sam and was told that he could solve the problem albeit that Golf would have to be put back for several months.
After the Op I was rather frustrated not being able to get back playing, but after seeing Sam again he assured me that all would be well -but be patient! I am 77 years of age and after 6 months back playing 18 holes -Thank you Sam and anybody having these ops-BE PATIENT all will be well.
Dr Sam Singh carried out foot surgery on my right foot over 4 years ago, it made a huge difference by not only taking away the day to day pain, but improving the overall look of my foot. Unfortunately, during that period my left foot has deteriorated and I have returned to Dr Singh and immediately feel in safe hands knowing that I will soon have this foot working as well as my right foot. I highly recommend Dr Singh not only for the end result, also for the care throughout.
I cannot recommend Mr Singh highly enough. I found him superb to deal with, clearly an expert in his field and he gave patient explanation and measured and sound advice.
I had been suffering with very bad bunions for many years which made walking very painful. Sam performed a miracle and I now have pretty straight big toes and have no trouble walking, even 11 years after the operation. On the vanity side, I can now proudly display my feet in the summer having hidden them away since I was a teenager.
Sam is a very personable man, without any hint of a consultant patronising manner. He explained the procedure clearly and put me at ease. I would thoroughly recommend him.
I would thoroughly recommend Sam Singh to anybody with ankle problems. He is extremely thorough explaining the issue and the options to solve the problem the best way possible. My surgery has also been very successful to date. A very professional consultant and yet really approachable.
Above says it all. 5 star plus !
The best !
First class advice,considered opinions,confident conclusions.excellent outcome.
Sam removed a bunion and re-set my foot. I couldn't be happier with the result. My foot is straight, and I no pain. Within 11 weeks I was running, within 13 I was running 5km in under 30 minutes and also back to wearing heeled shoes.
Very pleased with Mr Singh. He operated on my ankle (Footballer's ankle). After 2 months, I can start running with absolutely no pain. Great success.
Mr. Singh quickly diagnosed the problem and arranged disgnostic tests. He set out clearly the proposed plan of treatment, answering my questions patiently!
I saw Mr Singh because ligament damage having twisted my ankle. I felt comfortable and confident right from the initial consultation. Mr Singh put me at ease and I was given great care and clear instructions throughout, both regarding what to expect before the procedure and regarding the rehab that follows.
Within a week, the area of pain was resolved (still is). There are lingering bits, but I am optomistic, and wanted you to know what an impressive difference to my quality of life you acheived... just like that.
The treatment on my foot has enabled being able to walk without discomfort. Once the physiotherapy is completed, all is very well
Dr. Mr Singh,
I came to see you at 31 Old Broad St on October 18th. I have been suffering for a long time, so I am highly grateful for your very speedy attention, clear diagnosis, and immediate treatment.
I had not expected this- what a treat!
my operation is a great success + my experience with Mr. Singh and the team of people in orthopedics + the ward was wonderful. I had a really fun, happy time on the ward and I haven't been in much pain at all. Thank you everyone for your excellent work.
I can't thank Mr. Singh + team enough for the difference he has made to my life following ankle fusion surgery. He and his team have been so friendly, professional + efficient throughout my care. Thank you :)
Due to rheumatoid arthritis, my right foot was becoming increasingly unstable. Dr Singh performed a Talonavicular fusion to screw my joints securely. Now 4 months later I am back on my feet and well on the way to full recovery. Really happy I had the operation, and very satisfied with the way Dr Singh has handled my procedure. All done very efficiently, very pleased with the result. Five stars!
Excellent surgeon - very pleased with results and post-op care as well.
Like Tina Turner sings, "You're simply the best.. better than all the rest! Better than anyone I've ever met..." Thank you Mr Singh.
I would highly recommend Sam, he has performed 2 ankle reconstructions for me. He explores your lifestyle requirements as well as the medical need to ensure both surgery and recovery are as smooth as possible.
Mr Singh has recently operated on my right foot, having previously performed surgery on my left foot three years ago. On both occasions the result has been excellent . I also found him to be caring, encouraging and kind throughout the whole process.
Seeing Mr Singh was a very good experience. He diagnosed my problem immediately and gave me a possible treatment option, with an alternative should the first treatment not work satisfactorily. The initial treatment seems to have solved the problem and I am a very satisfied patient.
My experience with Sam Singh has been first class. He performed surgery on my peroneal tendon in early 2016, and the results have been outstanding. I was quickly back to using my foot in a very active way, and I have had no adverse reactions since then. I really like Sam's manner - he is friendly, interested, direct and instructive. The hospital experience was as good as could be hoped for, but more importantly, I have thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with Sam in his consultancy.
I had a very positive and constructive medical follow up with Doctor Sing, very professional and providing a full advice on the pros and cons and long-term views as well as listening to my preferences.
Sam makes you feel like he knows you. This makes you feel very relaxed and at ease at a stressful time. My foot is healing so well and so quickly. I would recommend him without hesitation.
I´m really glad to have had Sam for this procedure. Regardless his excellent professionalism and skills as a doctor and the great work performed in my messy foot, I really appreciate his kindness, empathy, and attention during the whole process, making me feel calm and confident during all the phases of my procedure: the diagnostic, the surgery and the post-operation. And these are elements that we "scared" patients always appreciate a lot. For any doubt, question or concern I have had, I was able to contact him throughout his assistant within the same day, and he has provided the attention requested very quickly. So I just have a word of thanks for Sam and would recommend him to anyone.
First time I came across Mr Singh on the NHS five years ago when I had a bunion removed. He and his team has done an excellent job so when I started to have problems with a Morton's Neuroma, I came to find him on private healthcare. Again, Mr Singh has done an excellent job. As he promised in two weeks time I was wearing my own shoes. No pain, no physio and 8 weeks on everything feels fine.
I was very much looked after in tbe best possible way. Most appointments were at The Shard, who were very accommodating especially when i was on crutches. I felt comfortable through the whole process and was well informed throughout. I was prepared with lots of literature prior to my over night stay at The Lister Hospital. My aftercare has gone smoothly and i apprecite the flexibility of the service as I wanted to use a local physio for my rehabilitation. All correspondence was very informative and very much appreciated. Thank you so much....
Following recommendation from my health insurance I was booked for initial consultation with Dr Singh very quickly and from that my symptoms were assessed (scans taken) and soon we had reached agreement that surgery was the best option for me. The surgery itself was completely fine and I recovered well and all necessary information/help I needed was provided. Finally booking my follow up consultations was again very easy and Dr Singh was always very friendly and answered all my questions and queries. I want to extend my thanks and appreciation for handling my case so efficiently and painlessly!
This was my second operation with Sam Singh and once again he made it as comfortable as possible. From the start I felt confident with Sam, not only because he was highly recommended, but also because he thoroughly explained the operation and made me feel at ease throughout the whole procedure.
Mr Singh has successfully operated on both my feet to remove bunions and shorten toes. I would recommend him to anyone for his expertise and very friendly manner. I am delighted with the results.
I was recommended to Mr Singh for my bunion operation by my brother who had a similar procedure at Guys. I am very pleased with the result and care I have been given. He had a friendly manner which is also great.
A quick and easy process. A once painful neuroma operated on and dealt with very efficiently. From op to full activity in less than 4 weeks. Very pleased!
Excellent Doctor, made my operation very comfortable and was very caring
Everything has gone really well, recovery quicker than expected. Mr Singh has been brilliant all the way through. I would definitely recommend.
I had AFTL reconstruction and an arthroscopy, 6 weeks after I'm now fully fit and back in the gym. I want to thank Sam for everything and allowing me to make a speedy recovery!
Polite, efficient and instantly put me at ease. After a year of feeling I was going round in circles with another surgeon, Sam got straight to the point and filled me with confidence for the operation I need. He was completely honest about what to expect and was very personable. I'm so glad I found Sam for a second opinion and wish I had made the move sooner!
Mr Singh performed a bunion correction on my left foot. I am 22 and the bunion has caused hip and back pain for quite a few years from compensating. Mr Singh is a very efficient, friendly and talented surgeon. My surgery was 2 months ago and I can barely tell I had it! It has been a fast recovery and I have Mr Singh to thank for his wonderful work.
The results of the posterior heel decompression surgery have been successful and am now able to run again. Pre-surgery it was painful to stand up. Now, full flexibility is restored. Sam explained the issue using x-rays and what the procedure would be. During the recovery phase, Sam was extremely positive and reassuring.
From the swift, efficient and spot on diagnosis to the procedure and recuperation process my experience with Mr Sam Singh has been five star and some. My surgery completely eradicated the evil foot pain I was enduring and now I am returned to two happy feet. I cannot praise Mr Singh enough for his surgical expertise and charming demeanour .
Mr Singh brought his excellent insight to help identify quickly the cause of my foot pain and recommended a course of action that appears to have significantly improved my condition. Mr Singh also took the time to carefully explain what had happened and why i was experiencing pain. I felt well informed from my visits.
After a nasty smashed ankle some time ago which resulted in very little or no cartlidge in my joint and severe pain I am very happy to say I consultedMr Sam Singh. He is marvellous and has guided me through the whole process of treatment which finally resulted in an ankle fixation. This would have been very daunting had he not reassured me of the good outcome. It is in fact a great outcome thanks to his tremendous skill. Six months post op I was able to report to him that I can run for the bus, chase my grandchildren, climb a Lake District mountain, dance at parties and wear shoes, all pain free! Mr Singh is a marvellous surgeon and I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone with foot or ankle problems. Thank you Mr Sam Singh!
Mr. Singh is personable, thorough and transparent in his advice. I have recommended him to other people with foot issues as I’ve had a positive experience with an operation he performed on my foot aswell as follow up treatment for a separate issue. I like his pragmatic approach and he explains things in plain English with models of the foot so you understand exactly what the issue is and how it might be treated.
Mr Singh is a professional yet personable consultant who always seemed genuinely concerned for my well-being. More importantly he is a skilled surgeon who has helped me recover from a number of problems. I would not hesitate to use his services again or to recommend them to others.
Everything seems good at the moment. Scar hardly notices at 3 months on. Little swelling at times but improving all the time.Mr.Singh very straightforward to deal with, tells you at the beginning what to expect, and timescale and I was spot on. Have been swimming and hope to get back to playing Racketball in a few weeks.
Very good experience with Dr Singh. Many thanks!
From my first appointment and throughout my treatment I found Mr Sam Singh very thorough and totally competent. He instilled in me every confidence and was approachable on all levels and made me feel very much at ease. My operation has been the success he promised .. All procedures were thoroughly explained and I am delighted with the results and being pain free....
If I had a 3rd foot I would go back to see Mr Singh and have surgery on that one too! I had bunions on both my feet, one in particular made it impossible to wear nice shoes and was very painful. I was terrified of having the surgery as I had heard bad things about the pain and time to recover, When I went for the first consultation Mr Singh helped me to feel calmer about the procedure and was confident the results would be satisfying. Mr Singh was great at making me understand the process and addressing any concerns I had (and I had many!). After the operation on my left foot and a wonderful recovery (thanks to great post op consultations and care) I quickly booked surgery on the right one. It may sound strange but I was actually excited about having another one! I cannot thank Mr Singh enough and would highly recommend him.
Mr Singh was very helpful and gave me the advice and reassurance I was seeking regarding the treatment of my Achillies tendon rupture. He has a lovely 'bedside' manner and I would highly recommend him
I had a reconstruction of the ATFL with a Brostrom Gould ligament reconstruction carried out by Mr Sam Singh. Overall he has been an excellent consultant and I recommend him wholeheartedly. He has been very professional and friendly from the start taking time to inform me about my injury and the procedure.
The procedure itself went very well. Pain was very minimal after the operation and although I was given plenty of painkillers, they were not necessary and the recovery was relatively easy. I was walking again without crutches after two and a half weeks having not missed any sleep.
Since the operation I have worked hard with my physio and under Sam's guidance (swimming/cycling/leg weights and balance exercises) and now two months on from the operation I am back running and playing sport as I was before the injury.
Thank you to Mr Sam Singh for a great job and getting me back so quickly!
London's go-to foot man! I met at least 4 people who recommended Sam before I had my consultation and subsequent operation, which went amazingly smoothly and well.
Would go back, but I hope I won't have to!
Four years ago when I became Mr Singh's patient I could barely walk and was in significant constant pain. Thanks to the amazing work Mr Singh did I am now completely pain free and have recently qualified as a yoga teacher. I think about Mr Singh every day because I am so grateful for the gift he has given me. As my doctor he was kind, knowledgable, supportive and totally brilliant. I cannot thank thank him enough.
Dr Singh was amazing throughout, from consultation to post Op. My ankle problems are now a thing of the past.
Three years ago I broke my foot across the top .It was very painful to walk and as I teach aerobics I could not work.Mr Sing assured me he could operate and mend it.i was very worried but he was very easy to deal with and made me feel at ease.He fused the break and since that day I have had no pain or problems whatsoever .I am back doing my aerobics and would recommend Mr Sing most highly.
Dr Sam Singh operated for heel spurs on both my achilles in October 2016. Though it took a while for the recovery, thanks to his excellent work and after-care I've been able to get back to ultra-running. Since May I’ve completed a number of races in 2017 including ones with substantial vertical climb - notably the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc with 10,000m of vert over 166km - and last weekend a pretty brutal 246km race in Greece, the Spartathlon. Looking forward to next season.
very professional approach, with clear updates on my condition. resulting surgery excellent and making a full recovery.
If you are in need of an excellent foot and ankle surgeon, go and see Mr Sam Singh. The surgery he performed on my ankle has been tremendously successful and from barely being able to bear weight on my ankle or walk without dreadful pain I have become totally pain free. I was not only suffering from a very painful ankle, but also from the after effects of very poor care from other orthopaedic surgeons elsewhere. Mr Singh also very successfully helped me to deal with this trauma as well, with his sense of humour, empathetic understanding of my experience and outstanding communication skills. Personally I am so happy and relieved that I found Mr Singh and am on the road to what I believe will be an excellent recovery because of him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Mr Sam Singh.
Great experience. My second heel decompression op with Mr Singh. Everything went smoothly and he was very good about minor post surgery wound issues.
Thanks again Sam
I was operated on using keyhole surgery, for a Arthroscopic Ankle Fusion by Mr Sam Singh, Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon.on the 6th May 2017. The operation was a complete success & I can now walk again completely pain free. Throughout the prior consultation process meetings, total dedicated & caring professionalism was displayed. I am truly grateful to Mr Singh for his exceptional skills in carrying out this very difficult operation. He has given me back my life.
Mr Singh did an ankle ligament reconstruction for me on a complicated set of injuries. 5 months later i am vey happy to report a huge improvement and recovery, nearly back to normal. I sought him out as a reputed leading expert and was in no way disappointed. He was also very enjoyable to meet with during the consolations, explaining in detail his thinking.
From the first consultation, to surgery and through rehabilitation, Mr Singh and his team have made the process very straight forward and efficient. The explanations of my diagnosis and subsequent surgical procedures (Subtalar Fusion) were thorough yet easy to follow and the aftercare has got me back on my feet and pain free.
I saw Sam Singh because I had increasing pain and lack of mobility in my right ankle over a 3-4 year period. Cause was deterioration in the cartilage and the onset of significant osteoarthritis. I used to play football and cricket up to my 50th year, I hill walked regularly but with increasing pain.
In January this year I had my right ankle fused by Mr Singh. I was in hospital overnight and managed weight bearing for 3 months in total. 6 weeks not being able to walk without crutches and then 6 weeks walking in an ankle boot. The procedure was not particularly painful and took no pain killers after the second day.
I took the physio advice seriously and exercised from day one. This built up strength. I hired a scooter that enabled me to move around quite freely and fast as an alternative to crutches.
By the beginning of April I was able to walk without the surgical boot. ~That month I walked along the Regents Canal for a couple of miles, Walked an 8 mile coastal walk in Suffolk and at the end of the month a weekend walking in the Peak District including a 12 mile ridge walk. In May I had a 5 day walking week in the Lakes and did some pretty challenging walks. A bit stiff afterwards but most of my body was. The ankle has been fine and gets stronger. I still do regular exercise, cycling regularly and walking distances. I can run a little but not much more than a few yards.
The pain has gone and my mobility much increased.
Mr Singh was extremely supportive throughout and explained the procedures and recovery very well.
I can't recommend Sam Singh enough, from the first consultation with him where he knew exactly what and where the problems with my toe and ankle were, through a first class surgery experience and then finally a fantastic post op consultation process he fully explained every step of the procedure and the end result was exactly what he said it would be. I would highly recommend Sam Singh to anybody who is looking for a Specialist Foot and Ankle Consultant.
Excellent surgeon. Diagnosed and treated me for Morton's Neuroma in my foot, did a fantastic job and have had no problems since. Would highly recommend Mr. Singh.
I cannot thank Mr Singh enough. He did a fantastic job correcting the bunion on my right foot despite having very little bone to work with. This was due to the fact I had had the operation done ten years previously on the NHS, when this type of operation wasn't very advanced. The bunion had returned much worse than it had been initially and I started to experience arthritic pain and swelling. This was preventing me from training, which I have always done 4-5 times a week & was also uncomfortable to walk on.
I had the operation with Mr. Singh in September 2016 and today, 5 months on, I'm back in the gym, running regularly and rarely experience arthritic pain. In addition, my scarring is minimal, my foot FINALLY looks normal and I didn't experience any post-op pain. I would highly recommend Mr. Singh to anyone considering having a bunion operation. Don't think twice, just do it!!!
I had severe arthritis in both big toes for years with limited movement and suffered with continued pain after playing sport. This all ended when I couldn’t battle on anymore and was referred to Sam Singh. He is a true professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone experiencing similar problems to mine. It was very soon apparent that he has a fantastic manner and wealth of experience. I felt at ease immediately and knew I would trust him with fixing my feet.
After some xrays he suggested a left and right foot cheilectomy and told me that he could help to improve things dramatically. His support team were excellent and the hospital arrangements made seamlessly. I went home after surgery on 8th December and was working from home the next day with no side effects whatsoever. After two weeks in bandages and following his detailed recovery instructions to the letter I walked out of the follow up appointment on the 21st December in a pair of loosely laced trainers.
After a few sessions of physio I could feel a huge difference in range of motion, I walked 1.5 miles to his offices today, 5 and a bit weeks after surgery – the last time I felt this pain free was ten years ago, my only regret is that I had not met him sooner than I did.
My dealings with Sam Singh were the most pleasant and enjoyable I have ever had with someone in the medical profession.
Mr Singh treated me recently for an ankle problem that had been affecting me for over 18 years. I had been to see various Physio therapists and specialists during those 18 years without a solution. Only when I was referred to Mr Singh by another great consultant, Steven Moto was my problem finally rectified.
Mr Singh operated on September 13th 2016 where he removed some lose bone and shaved off some excess bone from within the ankle joint. After four days I was able to apply my full weight on the ankle without the aid of crutches, after 8 weeks I was able to complete a 4k run without any discomfort.
Throughout the process Mr Singh has been a pleasure to deal with, every appointment has been on time and he made me feel completely at ease on the day of the operation.
I would like to thank Mr Singh for everything he has done, this is truly a life changing result.
I underwent a bilateral Morton's neuroma surgery under the care of Dr Singh in late September 2016. My condition was very advanced and I was coping with daily pain that gradually took over my life. I was delaying the treatment for years as I thought the surgery was my very last resort due to a long recovery time and sometimes an unpredictable outcome. I did one round of cortisone injections that provided limited relief for about 6 months. The longer I waited, the longer I walked in a awkward manner putting strain on my lower back. However, I was finally relieved to meet Dr Singh in person and discuss my condition with him. I chose to see Dr Singh because he is very experienced yet he represents a younger generation of surgeons practicing modern surgical techniques. He actively contributes to medical research and one of his research papers was specifically on the surgical treatment of Morton's neuroma. Having met Dr Singh, I became very confident about having to undergo a surgery and had a great experience. He is very attentive and reassuring in his approach to patients. My recovery was much better compared to what I was expecting and certainly had nothing to do with what I read on the internet (don’t read!). My post-surgical pain was minimal (at least compared to Morton's neuroma pain) and I had very little swelling 2 weeks after the surgery. I can wear any shoes now. And I am currently focused on fixing my lower back that had been strained by my awkward walking for so long due to the neuroma pain. I wish I had done the surgery years ago - thank you Dr Singh!
Very nice and a great professional.
I recommend him for any foot problem.
Mr Singh was wonderful in every aspect. From the initial consultation, to surgery for my subtalar joint fusion, to follow up appointments - he was the best. Informative, reassuring, smart, and kind you would be foolish to choose another surgeon! Eight months after my major foot surgery I feel better than I've ever felt before. Thank you, Mr Singh!
I saw Mr Singh to have a mortons neuroma removed in 2014. The pre-op and post-op care was 5* and this meant that when I had another mortons neuroma this year I had no issues in asking to be referred back to Mr Singh. Once again the care and advice that I was given was 5* and would happily recommend Mr Singh to anyone have any sort of surgery.
This man is a genius. He gave me a brand new ankle by performing three operations in one go. A true professional and absolutely leg-end (pun intended). Without him I'd still be limping and running would be a distant memory; because of him I can run again...!
Mr Singh (Sam) treated my mortons neuroma. It was not something I wanted to have going wrong but he made me feel absolutely relaxed about the whole affair. When I had the surgery he was abundantly warm and explained both the procedure and the outcome in terms I could understand. He is an interesting person with a great manner so if you are looking for a serious doctor - he is it. I would recommend Mr Singh wholeheartedly. Zoe Layden
From the first consultation appointment with Mr. Singh he made me feel 100% confident about my surgery and what was would be involved post-op. Being my first operation there were obvious concerns and apprehensions but after the first session these disappeared and i actually became more excited about the surgery and getting back on the road to recovery. Any questions i had at any stage (pre and post op) he would answer and would always make himself available to support myself. Fantastic Doctor and i would highly recommend his services to anyone who was in need of them. Thank you Mr. Singh.
Mr Sam Singh performed bunion surgery on my two feet at the same time in September 2015. I was cycling after 4 weeks, walking well at 5 weeks and returned to work at 6 weeks. I love walking and running and phased myself back into running 9 weeks after surgery. Currently, May 2016, I am comfortably running my usual 5k twice a week, cycling, horseriding etc. Without this life changing surgery and the wonderful skills of Mr Sam Singh I could hardly walk properly; I couldn’t run any more and it was difficult to cycle. Mr Sam Singh has given me a new lease of life. I'm very grateful.
After years of putting up with painful bunions , I decided to do something about it. A friend of mine recommended that I go and see Sam. She said he was amazing and she was right! From the first meeting with Sam I felt at ease and safe that he would do a great job. Im now 6 months past my first foot operation & 5 weeks for my second & I'm so happy with the way my feet look and feel. Sam is an amazing doctor and I can't thank him enough for looking after me. It's still a long healing process for me , but I dont regret having the operation done & I know if I have any concerns in the future , that Sam will be there to help me. I would recommend him to anyone that I know. He is a brilliant surgeon & a lovely guy. Thank you Sam.
Really happy with the outcome of the operation and my general experience from start to finish. Sam was really open and approachable throughout and we had a really good chat about the history of my ankle injury and the options, which ultimately led to an ankle arthroscopy. Very happy with the outcome from the operation as 6 weeks later after a bit of rehab work I was off running 10k again. Thanks for putting me back together.
As promised i'm writing to let you know how our daughter got on with her firstrace since the surgery in her foot last year.
She ran in the Surrey County Championships yesterday and got a silver medal uwhich was great to receive. She was not happy with the time though! There is no pain at all in her foot and all is well.
Once again we'd like to say thank you for the great work you did and the
God bless and take care.
Dr Singh is a very charming gentlemen, who makes you feel at ease immediately, I have had one operation with him for mortom's neuroma and now plantar fascia, he has treated both successfully. He is an expert in his field.
I was referred to Mr Sam Singh following years of walking around with a damaged ankle caused by juvenile rheumatoid arthritis when I was 5 (I am now 63). I was on constant strong painkillers and periodic steroid injections into the ankle. I have now been back at work almost 6 weeks and I can honestly say that the operation has changed my life! I am now pain free and my walking and stamina is improving weekly. Now that I can walk without pain I realise what a strain it had been before and how miserable it was making me. It’s surprising what you put up with when you think you have no choice. I now walk from Cannon Street station to Broadgate (0.8 mile) every morning and it takes me 20 minutes (unthinkable before the operation). There were times after the operation and during the recovery when I wondered if it had been worth it but that is all forgotten now. I am lucky to have found you and I am so grateful to you.
I can't thank Sam enough for mending my tendon. He has been great with advice, and working with me to avoid surgery (for a few years). When surgery eventually became the best course of action, Sam has really helped me through the recovery process, and always provide help and advice in an easy to understand way.
On operation day, Sam was really good, looking in before the operation to ease any concern I had, and popping in afterwards to check I was OK, and explain in detail, what he had done.
I hope I don't have to see Sam again anytime soon for another injury, but if I do get injured, I will be visiting him
I am 67 and 12 months ago had an ankle fusion op at The London Bridge Hospital under Sam's care.
From the initial consultation to being discharged I can not fault Sam's attention to detail and total professionalism. I was under his care for perhaps 2 years, following alternative treatments, before he suggested I had this operation. He explained the procedure in the fullest detail and the recovery process to put my mind at ease. On the day of the op he rang to suggest I did not come to the London Bridge until later in the day, as my op would be later on - a small example of his thoughtful and caring approach. After the op he rang my wife at 9.30pm, to tell her everything was fine. On follow-up consultations he changed my plaster himself.
The operation has been a complete success and I am walking better than I did 15 years ago. Paul Davy
Sam conducted a Brostrom reconstruction on my right ankle in January 2015 due to damaged ankle ligaments and cartilage problems. I am a keen golfer and was unable to play for six months leading up to the operation and Sam put my mind at rest assuring me it was my best option of getting back playing and saying it was a simple operation that he had done many times. I can’t speak highly enough of the treatment I received throughout the whole procedure from my first meeting with Sam through to the day I had my final check up with him. I was back playing golf in June 2015 and can’t thank Sam enough for getting me back on the golf course. Having any operation is quite nerve racking for most people but the excellent way this was handled by Sam and everyone at London Bridge hospital made the whole experience worthwhile and feel relaxing and built up my hopes. I have no hesitation in providing this feedback and would recommend Sam to anyone I know.
I suffered with severe pain in my left foot for a number of years and as a keen runner and heel wearer found it very uncomfortable. The pains became so uncomfortable that could no longer wear bare feet or flip flops and had to strap my feet when running to avoid the pain.
I had seen private podiatrists and NHS specialists, none of whom identified the pain correctly.
I saw Sam who very quickly identified the problem and suggested surgery on my foot to remove a
I had the operation in November 2015 and in January 2016 I ran my quickest 10k race - so was so happy with the result and my recovery has been fantastic.
Sam was fantastic, before, during and after my surgery - I am a big fan!
I was suffering from debilitating achilles heel pain for over a year and had three consultants / physiotherapists all given up hope helping my condition. In my first visit to Dr Singh, he correctly diagnosed my problem, haglund's deformity, and performed the operation a month later. Before and after the surgery, he was available to answer all my questions & concerns and made sure my recovery was all going according to plan.
In the years since the operation, I've gone on to compete muay thai in the professional division and run several marathons (and hopefully many more to come), all with a healthy achilles heel. I am truly grateful to Dr Singh for helping me and changing my life around!
