I am an expert vascular consultant with a particular interest in varicose vein treatments such as laser therapy (EVLT), radio-frequency ablation (VNUS), cyanoacrylate glue treatment and foam sclerotherapy.

I have been working as a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon for the last 18 years.

I specilaise in vascular and endovascular surgery with a specific interest in minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins and short and long term management of deep vein thrombosis. I have also specialised in treating TIAs and carotid disease. This is beside all major complex procedures such as endovascular repair for complex abdominal aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease and atherosclerosis and carotid endarterectomy under local anaesthetic.

I have also worked as a clinical advisor for NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) on new devices which gave me increased knowledge into minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins as well as anti DVT protection devices.

To date I have done numerous operations for varicose veins treatments and endovascular repairs for abdominal aortic aneurysms.

I am the Ex-Clinical Director for the South Mersey Arterial Centre based at the Countess of Chester Hospital. I am the Ex-Chairman for the Thrombosis Group at the Countess of Chester Hospital and ex-secretary for Mersey Vascular Group.

My personal interests include Tennis, scuba diving.
