From my first consultation, right through to my review after the operation Mr Shah was brilliant. He was a professional, knowledgeable and put me at ease right away. My hip operation was very successful, Mr Shah did a very good job on me and after committing myself to my physio, I was very quickly mobile and pain free. All staff at Spire were amazing. I am very grateful for the care I received.

Was referred to Mr Shah for a total knee replacemant due to severe arthritis in the left knee. It was affecting my right knee as well as it was carrying all the load. Really nice guy, listened, explained options and the various pros and cons. Once course of action decided it was conducted quickly and without undue discomfort. Follow on was regular and progress monitored. From being unable to walk a couple of hundred yards without having to stop,due to the pain, I did a 10 miler a couple of weeks ago without any issues. I can sit comfortably in theaters to watch plays and I can finally get back on my motorbike. My right knee has also settled down now but if it ever needed treatment I would be more than happy to see Mr Shah again.

Was very informative and explained procedure with friendly manner. Answered my questions and the options available/open to me. Was patient and put me at ease in the consultations prior to the procedure. Afterwards was very positive and supportive about my recovery and my attitude to the physiotherapy. Overall a very positive experience from the outset.

Mr Shah is a first rate surgeon, my surgery was explained thoroughly and I was put at ease up to the point of operation.The surgical team he works with is fantastic, and aftercare nursing was first class. The food at the Alexander Hospital was great and I was given a variety of choices to help with my progress. I was walking on crutches just hours after the surgery, I was given excersises on discharge which I did methodologically , I gained strenght daily. Physio therapy follow up is good and helped my recovery, the whole experience has got me active again and changed my life for the positive.
