Mr Sanjay Agrawal is a senior Consultant Bariatric, Laparoscopic and Upper GI Surgeon in London, Essex and Hertfordshire specialising in weight-loss / obesity procedures, gallstone surgery and all kinds of hernia surgeries.

Sanjay is certified as 'Master Surgeon in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery™ (MSMBS™)' by the Surgical Review Corporation of USA. He is the only UK weight-loss and obesity surgeon awarded with this designation.

Sanjay was invited to join Top Doctors® UK and to become a member of their international medical team following identification as a leading specialist in Bariatric Surgery in the UK.

Among his other accomplishments, Sanjay is the Editor and author of the textbook, ‘Obesity, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery: A Practical Guide'. He is also Director of 'London International Bariatric Surgery Symposium (LIBSS)'.

Sanjay has performed about 1,250 bariatric operations, and over 2,000 general surgical procedures. He also spends time training others in bariatric and laparoscopic surgery. He presents at international conferences and publishes articles in renowned journals.

Consultation: Mr Agrawal works within London, Essex and Hertfordshire. Please note that appointment prices vary based upon patient treatment. For weight-loss surgery, the initial cost of the face-to-face consultation is £100 for assessment. Alternatively, we also offer telephone consultation to have an initial conversation with our surgeon at a reduced consultation fee of £50. For General Surgery (hernias and gallbladders), the first consultation cost is £200 and follow-up is £150.
