Mr Pasu completed his schooling at The Perse School, Cambridge and went on to read medicine at Guy's, Kings and St.Thomas' in London. His comprehensive ophthalmology training was at Imperial College Healthcare Trust and Moorfields Eye Hospital. He is the lead for the Diabetic Retinal Screening service for East Sussex and was previously a locum Consultant Ophthalmologist for Imperial College in London.
Following a personal recommendation from the Surgeon Oculist to HM The Queen, Mr Pasu is able to see and treat patients at the prestigious King Edward VII's Hospital, Marylebone London.
He is a well respected educator and is a Senior Lecturer for Kings College London, and also provides Ophthalmology support to the England National Rugby team medical staff.
His interests include Cataract surgery and disorders of the Retina including vein occlusions, diabetes and age related macular degeneration. He is able to perform retinal and YAG laser, as well as intravitreal injections. He has a strong academic interest having published extensively in medical journals, and has presented his work at international meetings. He spent two years of his training fully dedicated to research at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, which lead to the award of a postgraduate doctorate degree MD(res).
Mr Pasu completed his subspecialty training in Medical Retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital. During this time he developed a keen interest in complex cataract surgery and took an active and passionate role in teaching junior eye surgeons. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Mr Pasu has been described as a compassionate, dynamic and safe surgeon who prides himself on the high quality of his work.

He was very thorough and ask if l kown l had a stigma in my eye explain they could work round it and it could make l eye worse but now they know they will try there best and did l still won't to go a head l said yes he made appointments round my hoildays which was very good of him as he must be very bissy

The facilities were calm, quiet and reassuring. All the staff were extremely professional and kind. The procedure was seamless and pain free. It was speedy and precisely on the stated times for arriving and departing.

Prior to my surgery I was uncertain about the procedure. However I was put at ease by the staff at the clinic. They were all friendly and professional and provided me with information in advance of surgery and advice about post-operative care.

Could not fault surgery. Vision much improved. Unfortunately my tear duck is blocked. Went to Eastbourne hospital 5 months ago and still waiting for another appointment to be looked at again (appointment should have been 2 months ago)
