I am extremely grateful to Mr Sean Molloy for his very careful attention to my lower back pain (caused by the fragmentation of a vertebra) and his rapid surgical plan to deal with it - complex surgery in a challenging position in my spine. When I first saw him I was bent double when standing and almost unable to walk because of the pain. 6 weeks after surgery, I was walking 0.5 miles twice a day, standing up straight and hardly using a stick - and am continuing to increase my walks. Mr Molloy’s surgical expertise has brought him an enviable reputation. Every professional person I’ve met during my treatment who works with him or for him - from specialist hospital nursing staff and specialist physiotherapists to radiographers - has the highest regard, describing him as ’meticulous’, ‘perfectionist’ and several simply saying ‘he’s the best’. I have also much appreciated Mr Molloy’s friendly, sympathetic and unassuming manner - straightforward and direct, giving clear instructions and advice. He listens carefully and pays great attention to detail. I consider myself very fortunate to have been treated by such an expert and to have his continuing follow-up.

I was put at ease from my first meeting with Sean. I couldn’t walk more than fifty yards and needed two pretty major operations on my back. Everything went smoothly for me and seven months on I am walking 10 thousand steps a day. Great surgeon and consultant with a great team of people working with him. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Mr Molloy takes time to explain the situation, and I love the fact that he makes a video of your scans because sometimes we want to remember the exact words the doctors use and it's hard so this is absolutely fantastic.
