Mr Behrooz Mostofi graduated from Bangalore University in 1994 and completed his orthopaedic training in Manipal in 1997. He then undertook further specialist orthopaedic training in the UK, on the South East Thames Region and obtained his FRCS (Tr & Orth) in 2005. Following that, he undertook a clinical fellowship at Harvard University. In 2008, he was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
Behrooz’s specialist interests cover arthroscopic surgery, forefoot surgery, rheumatoid arthritis and heel pain / achilles problems. He also does resaerch work and has published extensively in this field. He has authored seven textbooks, some of which have been translated into Polish, Portuguese and Chinese.
Behrooz is involved in the training of future surgeons and also teaches nationally and internationally.
