Simon Harrison is a clinical audiologist who specialises in diagnostic assessments and hearing aid technology. Simon completed a Bachelor of Communication Pathology specialising in Audiology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa in 2014. Initially Simon worked as an audiologist in a rural South African hospital providing much needed audiological services to both paediatric and adults in the town and nearby villages. Through this, he gained a wealth of knowledge in all areas of audiological diagnostics and rehabilitation. In 2016, he made the move to the UK to further his audiological career and took up a role in the Berkshire NHS Trust, working predominantly with adults with a special interest in providing hearing aid rehabilitation services for advanced cases. Alongside being a full time clinical audiologist at Hearology, Simon is currently furthering his education to become a Master of Audiology with a focus on ototoxicity.
Simon’s interest in audiology is inspired by his elder brother who works as a hearing aid dispenser and technician back home. The profession appealed to him due his keen interest in technology, the specialist nature of the job and the
allure of meeting an array of people and cases. He enjoys working together with a patient on their specific requirements for an increased sensory experience and improvement of their overall listening ability.
Simon joined Hearology due to their innovation and approach to ear care in a fresh and friendly approach. Simon is a young, charismatic and hard-working individual who puts a great deal of care and attention to his patients, often leaving a lasting impression. Simon currently works around the clock at theLondon Bridge clinic bringing his smile and knowledge to whoever enters our very stylish, modern and professional audiology room.
