I am very pleased with the detailed explanation of my problem that Mr Newman gave. This allows me to have a clearer understanding of all possible options and is already helping me to focus on what I can do to help myself. Given my family circumstances at the moment I am very grateful to him as I now feel much more positive.

Excellent. I selected Simon Newman after undertaking my own research on available options and surgeons. He is a well skilled and eminent surgeon who exudes confidence and was able to explain the options available to me and the timing for dealing with my condition. There was no pressure and he made himself available to answer my concerns and queries. He was very much available pre and post surgery, taking time to check my recovery. Follow up reviews have also been first class and he has given me most excellent tips for recovery and rehabilitation. He is very approachable, caring and 'human'. I would recommend him to friends and family without hesitation.

So... had a ridiculously painful arthritic hip for over a year - tried to go down the NHS route but was not even going to see a consultant for 6 months, so decided to go private. Wow - was I glad that I did. Put into Google - best hip surgeons & one of the names who came up was Simon's. I just liked everything that he said so decided he was the one. Within a month I was being operated on - so super speedy. But forget all that - Simon is just brilliant. Despite this being a major surgery I did not get one iota of pain, not even a in prick, either in the scar or the hip itself - how? - don't ask - it just happened. So he gets 1000% genius rating from me. He's a delight anyway to talk too, but going on surgical expertise, he couldn't be bettered. He is firmly in my contact list should anything arthritic arise again! Cant recommend him highly enough.
