Mr Simon Rogers is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a special interest in oculoplastics and cataract surgery. He graduated from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School to obtain his medical degree, before beginning higher specialist ophthalmology training in Wessex. He later completed a prestigious Fellowship in Oculoplastics at Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia.
Mr Rogers is regularly involved in teaching ophthalmic trainees, junior doctors and medical staff and has organised courses to develop teaching skills. He has also been on numerous trips to an eye hospital in Burma to perform oculoplastic and cataract surgery as part of an overseas charity programme.
