Mr Sudhindran Ankarath is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in upper limb surgery. He works full time in Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust. Mr Sudhindran Ankarath treats all types of shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist problems but he has a special interest in conditions of the wrist. He specialises in arthroscopic wrist and upper limb surgery, carpal and cubital tunnel surgery, Dupuytren’s fasciectomy, and hand, wrist and elbow injuries. Mr Ankarath is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds and a member of the panel of examiners to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Intercollegiate Board of Examiners in Trauma and Orthopaedics. Mr Ankarath completed his undergraduate training at Calicut University, India and undertook specialist orthopaedic training in India and in the UK. He also achieved a fellowship in trauma in Germany. He currently works full time at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust.
