Mr Tariq Zaman is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a speciality in Hand, Wrist, Shoulder and Elbow surgery. He works for the London Northwest Healthcare NHS Trust. He is the Upper Limb Lead at the Ealing site and is active in research with recent presentations at the British Elbow and Shoulder Society annual meeting.

Mr Zaman qualified from the University of Dundee in 1988 and specialised within the field of Orthopaedics with his postgraduate medical training. He then completed fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1995 and 2002. His specialist Upper Limb training was at the Reading Shoulder Unit followed by an AO Fellowship in Salzburg, Austria. He was also awarded an EFORT travelling fellowship in 2003 from the Royal College of Surgeons.

He covers all general orthopaedic and trauma cases of the upper limbs and can perform arthroscopy and arthroplasty. Furthermore, he is involved in research into treatments for upper limb conditions and apart from his clinical work, he provides lectures for medical students at Imperial College of Medicine.
