Both Mr Crompton and his Medical Secretary, Hannah, have been truly outstanding in their communication and actions in caring for my son with his groin injury. They have gone way beyond in customer care, which has been both supportive and invaluable to our family. Directly calling the private hospital to help us expedite a necessary blood test and x-ray. As well as always being there if we had a question. Truly outstanding and exceptional customer care.

We couldn’t recommend Mr Crompton highly enough. He immediately connected with our son and ensured that he felt fully involved in his treatment plan. As parents, we really appreciated his calm and confident manner and in particular the way he was prepared to really listen to our concerns. He was prepared to be flexible in his approach, seeing our son’s potential for improvement even when traditional assessments indicated we should be satisfied with his current level of function. We had complete confidence leaving our son in his hands and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to other parents.

I just wanted to send you a note to say thank you so much for everything you've done to help our son get the treatment he needed during these very unusual times. We're so grateful for the care that you and the team at the Alex gave him in Brighton, and he seems to be making a really good recovery. You can see from his own thank you note that the quad bike on the ward made quite an impression on him! Please do pass on our very best wishes to everyone at the hospital - and thank you again for your kindness. Very best wishes and Happy Easter.

Dr Crompton was our second choice of surgeon, after it transpired our initial recommendation could not operate at the Portland. We were very grateful to be referred to Dr Crompton. Our 11year daughter immediately liked & trusted him. It was clear Dr Crompton understood her problem, how to proceed & how anxious our daughter was. As a parent, you can ask for no more. Our daughter had surgery on 23.03.20, a stressful time given the issues surrounding Covid19. It is testament to Dr Crompton & his team that our daughter was at no stage worried or frightened. We are now watching our daughter recover. Dr Crompton’s secretary is an email away, & despite Covid19 restrictions, we have been able to follow remote advice as frequently as we have required. Choosing a surgeon for your child is not easy. We were so fortunate to have Dr Crompton & his unfailingly helpful secretary. I recommend him & his team.

Dr Crompton was excellent from start to finish. My 12 year old daughter had broken her leg quite badly whilst skiing. It was a nasty break, but Dr Crompton put our minds at rest and reassured us all that the leg would heal perfectly and be stronger than before! He was extremely professional, efficient and has an excellent "bedside manner". Overall we were incredibly happy with the experience.
