Mr Vik Sharma is a Consultant Ophthalmologist practising at the Royal Free Hospital, where he is clinical lead for glaucoma. He also practices at the London Ophthalmology centre. Mr Sharma qualified in medicine at St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospital’s Medical College, and also has a B.Sc. in Immunology from UCL in London. He underwent medical training as a Specialist Registrar in Ophthalmology at a number of London’s world-renowned teaching hospitals. Mr Sharma’s special clinical interests include glaucoma surgery laser treatment, and micro-incision cataract surgery with lens implants. He has authored a number of peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters and is an active member of the ophthalmology medical research field.
