Mr Vikas Vedi is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hip and knee surgery. He works at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals where he performs joint replacement and revision surgery, and treats sports injuries to the hip, knee, foot and ankle. He is an expert in arthroscopic knee surgery, minimally invasive joint replacement surgery to the hip and knee, and soft tissue conditions around the hip and knee. Mr Vedi has an interest in research and education, and he has presented at numerous international meetings, and teaches regularly on courses in hip and knee surgery. He is also the UK principal investigator for a new technology in knee replacement. Mr Vedi completed his undergraduate training at University College London in 1992, and undertook higher surgical training on the South West Thames Orthopaedic rotation. He also completed a fellowship in Sydney, Australia, where he gained a wealth of experience in hip and knee arthroplasty and revision surgeries.
