Mrs Katy Clifford is a Consultant Gynaecologist at St Mary's Hospital and she also sees patients privately, including at The Lister Hospital.

Mrs Clifford qualified from Cambridge University and Westminster in 1985.and then trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in London, at Queen Charlotte's, King's College and St Mary's Hospitals. She gained the Gold Medal in the MRCOG examination in 1990 and went on to attain an MD, with a three year thesis on the endocrinology of early pregnancy loss.

She was appointed a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St Mary's in 2000 and in addition to inpatient work, she also runs an outpatient hysteroscopy service for women with menstrual disorders and other abnormal bleeding. She also has an interest in education and trains post-graduates and assesses junior doctors at Imperial College, London and the NW Thames region.
