Having qualified as an osteopath in 1992, Ms Alison Judah undertook further training at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London where she gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy.
Alison has experience of over 20 years, having started working in private practice since 1994. Since 2003, she has been located in Hammersmith. She has a particular interest in helping performing artists with their health issues, both professional and amateur. Her expertise also includes adult patients and children. She is a firm believer in educating her patients, not only treating them and she finds great satisfaction in helping her patients prevent further problems in the future.
Alison regularly attends courses and workshops to keep her knowledge and techniques up to date. During her career, she worked as a clincal supervisor and lecturer in undergraduate osteopathic colleges, for example the London School of Osteopathy. She was also involved as an examiner for the end of year examinations. The 5 years she spent at the Osteopathic Centre for Children gave her a comprehensive understanding not only of the paediatric issues, but also how problems from childhood can affect people in adult life.
During her spare time, Alison enjoys singing in a choir, ballroom dancing, running, swimming or playing the piano. She has run several marathons including the London Marathon and completed one 80 mile ultra marathon along the South Downs Way.
