Ms Rachmanidou is a consultant otorhinolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon. She treats all general ENT problems and has a special interest in the following areas:

Ms Rachmanidou undertook her medical training and general surgical training in Greece before taking part in a European Training Scheme where she specialised in otorhinolaryngology. She then completed advanced surgical training in Edinburgh and Scotland, before being appointed consultant ENT surgeon at University Hospital Lewisham in 2000.
Ms Rachmanidou is also involved in medical education and holds both management and teaching credentials.

Ms Rachmanidou is an exceptional doctor. In a medical industry (and an academy writ large) that increasingly places a great emphasis upon research, Ms Rachmanidou is a doctor with the highest level of scientific expertise matched by a humanity and compassion that places the patient's wellbeing at the centre of her practice. With ear problems symptoms can at times be rather baffling and hard to explain for the patient. There are ENT doctors who can be dismissive of such mysterious symptoms and this can cause even more anxiety for a patient seeking reassurance. In my consultation with her, Ms Rachmanidou mentioned that all symptoms that patients observe must be believed and taken seriously as symptoms represent the body's attempt to try to communicate the nature of the illness. Ms Rachmanidou is not just a leading ENT consultant in the UK, she is a profoundly empathic physician who returns to the origins of the medical profession as a vocation that requires both intellectual brilliance and the ability to relate to the patient as a human being.

Fantastic ENT specialist. Her mannerism and approach with a 5 year old child was impressive. She was patient thought out the appointment with our son and explained everything as we were nervous. We will continue to follow up with her for our son’s condition
