Miss Beena Dandawate is a Consultant Gynaecologist who qualified in 1988. Dandawate specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1999 with honours' and was awarded a medal for best outgoing Registrar of the year in India. Dandawate then went to the United Kingdom for further studies in 2004 and did her MRCOG followed by completing her specialist registrar's training in 2011 in the UK at Wessex Deanery.

Dandawate's clinical interests include Heavy menstrual bleeding, Postmenopausal bleeding, Chronic pelvic pain, prolapse, Early pregnancy problems including ectopic pregnancy, colposcopy, Endometrial ablation (Novasure), Emergency Gynaecology and Benign Abdominal and Vaginal surgery.
