Dr Beverly Tsai-Goodman is a Consultant Fetal and Paediatric Cardiologist based in London. She has a specialist interest in detecting abnormalities of the fetal heart as early as 15-16 weeks gestation as well as managing newborn infants and children with congenital heart defects.
With over 13 years’ experience, she was originally educated in Germany and England before undertaking her Paediatric Cardiology training in Bristol, UK. Following on from this she spent an additional 15 months spent at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School, USA at a world-leading children’s hospital for paediatric and fetal cardiology where she undertook subspecialty training in cardiac MRI, fetal cardiology and echocardiography.
In 2004 she was awarded the Doctorate of Medicine by the University of Bristol of which her research has been widely published in peer-review journals. Currently, she is undertaking an MSc degree in genomics medicine at Imperial College and intends to combine the latest research in human genomics with her clinical expertise in paediatric and fetal cardiology.
Dr Tsai-Goodman is a passionate educator and annually convenes the ‘Echocardiography for Neonatologist' course which attracts delegates from all over the world. The two-day hands-on teaching course has recently engaged with the Caribbean Paediatric Community and delivered a course in Barbados and St Kitts.
