Ms Jane Aitken completed her surgical training in 2008, after completing a prestigious National Oncoplastic Fellowship at St Andrew's Unit, Broomfield Hostpital. She completed her PhD in Molecular Endocrinology at the University of London and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Jane's research resulted in a number of related publications. Jane is currently involved in a number of active projects and contributes to local and national audits for the NHS.

Ms Aitken is a scientist and a Consultant Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon and is currently based at Nuffield Health, Ipswich Hospital. She specialises in breast disease and has a special interest in breast conservation techniques and breast reconstruction. Ms Aitken treats both male and female breast problems and works closely with plastic surgery colleagues to ensure her patients are offered a full range of breast reconstruction techniques.
