Ms Carrie Newlands is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with over two decades of experience delivering a high standard of care. She sees private patients at the BMI Mount Alvernia Hospital.

After qualifying for medicine, Ms Newlands undertook her surgical training in Brighton, Guilford, Ireland and East Grinstead. Upon completion of her training, she was appointed Consultant at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in 2003, where she was later made Clinical Director for four years. She received the NHS Clinical Excellence award for three years running, showing she has made remarkable contributions to NHS. She has also co-authored the most renowned Oxford Specialist Handbook of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is the Editorial Advisor to British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
