I chose Professor Hart for my hip replacement surgery partly because of his interest in exercise, and he has given me lots of advice on how best to exercise to help my recovery. I was also delighted to be told by my physio, who specialises in hip and knee problems, that she had never seen such a wide range of motion after a hip replacement. Much of the credit must go to Professor Hart.

I had some years previously been very successfully operated on by Mr Hart as he then was. When I suffered a major issue with my other hip recently I immediately contacted him and he most helpfully fitted me into his busy schedule. The procedure was undertaken faultlessly from my perspective and I was able to make a very speedy recovery. I have no hesitation in recommending his services.

Professor Hart did my new hip two years ago. He was excellent then and again this week after I had had a fall last week (and I wanted him to check out I hadn’t damaged my hip in the fall. Very personable and very clear.

Professor Hart has performed 2 operations on me - 1 revision of my left hip replacement and my right hip replacement. These have been completely successful and it's not an exaggeration to say they have transformed my life. I am now able to exercise as I wish and do all the sporting and other hobbies I enjoy without pain or hindrance from my previously arthritic hip joints. Clearly hip replacements are major operations but my experience was that it has gone better than I expected and I have recovered faster than I expected - I was very careful to follow all the recovery instructions from professor Hart of course! Professor Hart talked me through the process and kept me informed at all times of how things were progressing and what to expect. Overall I would highly recommend Professor Hart to anyone requiring hip revision or replacement surgery.
