Professor Lennard Funk is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Manchester, UK. He was awarded his primary medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1990. He has been awarded Honorary Professorships from both Salford University and the University of Bolton and has completed extensive postgraduate training in his field.
Professor Funk specialises in arthroscopic (keyhole) and minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder and elbow. Aside from this, he is an expert in general upper limb surgery and trauma. He utilises the most advanced and cutting-edge techniques for the management of shoulder dislocations, frozen shoulder, arthritis, stiff elbows and sports injuries of the shoulder. His excellent reputation and aptitude have resulted in him routinely treating elite and professional athletes.
