Dr Lightstone is an exemplary physician. She is a huge fountain of knowledge. She explained everything very clearly to me, not only within her area of expertise but also with my other problems and issues that had not been explained to me by other specialists such as my cardiologist. Everything started to make sense. Moreover, Dr Lightstone has a very down to earth and unassuming manner. She has excellent people skills and is an exceptionally brilliant consultant. I look forward to seeing her again with results and wish I had come across her a very long time ago. Dr Lightstone is an amazing person and outstanding clinician.

I feel very lucky to have Professor Lightstone overseeing my care. She is dedicated and thorough and has a great bedside manner. I hope she never retires but if she does I’d ask her to meet me for a coffee. She should be PM or at least be given an OBE. I can’t sing her praises highly enough.

Professor Lightstone has remained caring, honest and very detailed in her approach with me despite my complex overlay. She has left no stone unturned and has always stepped forward to help rapidly, which in the current circumstances is unique in itself but also with my many conditions, it is easy to be overlooked and passed over to yet another speciality rather than take responsibility.
