I highly recommend Prof Mughal as I found him extremely considerate, well mannered, kind and super professional. He operated on me for 11 hours - a complete oesophagectomy and a month later I was able to eat and sleep almost as normal. I could not ask for more. Thank you Prof Mughal I am very grateful I had the opportunity to be your patient!

Met Prof Mughal after two failed upper GI operations. He was fantastic he explained everything to me understood my symptoms, arranged an immediate Ct scan which he compared to my previous scan. I felt he was very professional and vast experience with my condition . I could have avoided two previous operations if I had met him sooner. Thank you Prof Mughal!

I recently had the pleasure of being under the care of Dr. Mughal, who performed a hiatal hernia and anti-reflux surgery, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. The surgery itself was a success and Dr. Mughal's post-operative care was outstanding. He checked on me regularly to ensure that I was healing properly, and he was always available to address any questions or concerns that I had. His compassionate approach made a significant difference in my recovery, and I felt supported and cared for throughout the entire process. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Mughal for anyone in need of hiatal hernia and anti-reflux surgery. He is an outstanding surgeon who truly cares about his patients, and his expertise and compassionate approach set him apart as one of the best in his field.

I was 91 when I required an operation to repair a Hiatus Hernia so the choice of surgeon was rather important. However during the initial consultation I knew I had found the right man. Because of my age he adjusted the standard procedure to ensure the best possible outcome whist reducing the risk. After care was exemplary and he was present both days even though it was Saturday and Sunday.

Professor Mughal is an exemplary doctor. I cannot speak highly enough of both his meticulous skill as a surgeon and the excellent care he provided to me. He is unfailingly kind and thoughtful and a brilliant listener who explains matters with great clarity. Simply put he goes above and beyond for his patients. I will always be deeply grateful to Professor Mughal for his expertise, warmth and humanity.

Both Professor Mughal and his assistant were very welcoming and warm; they took time to explain things and Prof. Mughal listened to all that we said and answered all our questions honestly. My husband and I would highly recommend him. His assistant Iwona also did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. Best experience we have had with a medical appointment in the UK. It couldn’t be improved upon.
