Professor Quintus Van Tonder qualified in Dental Surgery in 2000 from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Following this, he worked in a dental clinic for a year and within this time he provided and maintained dental care and hygiene for thousands of thousands of underprivileged patients. He then moved to the UK, where he undertook further education and completed a course in Aesthetic Dentistry. This is when he started to develop a specialised interest in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. He enjoys using technology and aims to incorporate technological advances within the dental practice to improve efficacy of dental procedures.
He has developed many skills through years of training and experience and works to create beautiful smiles for his patients. He is also working on a project with the use of 3D printing to print intraoral appliances. Furthermore he was previously a Foundation Dentist Trainer where he trained dentists in applying cosmetic fillings and performing aesthetic dentistry.
