Mr. Thakkar is a highly experienced Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. Initially from India, Mr. Thakkar has been practicing in the UK since 1975, giving him over 40 years of experience in the UK alone.

Mr. Thakkar is a specialist in orthopaedics including hip and knee replacement surgery for arthritis, arthroscopic assessment and treatment of disorders of the knee joint and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.

In addition he teaches junior staff and is an examiner for the MScOrth Exam.

Outside of work, Mr. Thakkar enjoys keeping fit, listening to music and travelling.
